Monday evening, in a PalaBerta in Montegrotto packed to the presence of local authorities and the two presidents of the regional and provincial Fip (Polon Bruno and Roberto Nardi), ended the 17th edition of the Epiphany Tournament. The famous festival of national minibasket, designed by Leopoldo Carraro and organized by Hurricane Basketball, reserved for Eaglets (born in 2004 and 2005) over the four days has involved on various fields (from Mortise to Torreselle, through Piombino Dese, camposampiero, Caltana Santa Maria di Sala, Limena, Vigodarzere and ending in Abano) forty formations: among these, nine from outside the region.
“Growth and improvement of education” the main objectives. 
The edition of “record”, as was proudly dubbed by organizers as were exceeded eight thousand children and 500 participating teams over the years, perhaps slightly below technical level than previous, speaks decidedly Venetian: four teams classified the first four places.
The final victory went to the “battleship” Reyer Venezia, which is celebrating its fourth victory in the event, but excellent results achieved two teams Padua: Virtus, coached by Luciano OranO and Elena Sessi, finished second losing the grand final with the same age orogranata (42-12 score); Petrarch came fourth losing the glides with the Riviera.
